About Us

Serving the Community with Pride

The Paragould Police Department currently has fifty-three sworn police officers and seven civilians, for a total of sixty employees protecting and serving "The Friendly City" of Paragould.  Our divisions include patrol, criminal investigations, street crimes/narcotics, school resource officers, traffic, K-9, and police administration. Our civilian employees include two data entry clerks, one criminal investigations secretary, one street crimes unit secretary, one ACIC TAC officer, and two code enforcement officers.

The Paragould Police Department’s patrol units are equipped with laptop computers that are linked to the Arkansas Crime and Information Center (ACIC) database and the local computer aided dispatch and reporting system utilized by the police department.  This added technology assists officers in efficiency and reduces the time officers are out of service on calls.
