Message From The Director

Welcome to the City of Paragould Human Resource's page.  It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Human Resources Director for such a vibrant and caring community. I am surrounded by individuals that love serving our community and want to make a difference in the quality of life for our citizens. It is my pleasure to assist in maintaining positive relationships between our employees and administration through programs and policies that ensure fairness, respect, and equal treatment for all of our employees.

The Human Resources department handles the recruitment, screening, and hiring for all City departments. It is also responsible for the administration of benefits, compensation and payroll functions, city policies and directives, safety and training programs, employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.

City Employees

The city of Paragould employs 222 full-time employees and 14 year-round part-time employees. We also employ as many as 60 seasonal employees during the summer months. Our goal is to provide competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and a stable and rewarding work environment for all of our employees.
