Paragould. It's One of a Kind.
The only city in the United States to bear the name, Paragould prizes its uniqueness. A thriving small city, it marries an historic industrial tradition and a strong education heritage into an attractive location for growing a company, a community, a lifestyle.
Industry came to Paragould with the advent of the railroads in the late 19th century, and it remains one of the strongest manufacturing centers in Arkansas with more than 6,000 of its workforce employed in one of the city's many manufacturing operations. Those operations produce everything from rail cars to shock absorbers to retail display fixtures to plastics, all thriving on the strong Northeast Arkansas work ethic.
